Get Ready for Chili Competition—Kosher Style

This is the place to learn about entering your team in the 2016 Dallas Kosher Chili Cook-off. The cook-off is scheduled for March 6, 2016

The Dallas Kosher Chili Cook-Off is a time when the entire Dallas/Ft. Worth Jewish Community comes together to have fun, food, and of course, chili. Be sure your organization is represented!

Supporting Local Organizations

Each year, the cook-off helps support local not-for-profit organizations. This year we are pleased to announce our two beneficiaries are:

  • Dallas Holocaust Museum Center for Education and Tolerance
  • Abuse Support Group for Women at Jewish Family Service, Greater Dallas

Share Your Story and Your Chili

Each team will have one table for chili prep, sample display and information about your organization. What a great opportunity to let the community know what you are all about!

Register Today

Enclosed you will find a team registration and T-shirt order form, 4 “Save-the Date” post cards to distribute and copy, and two posters to display. You can register your team on our website, by mail, email or fax. Upon receipt of your team registration, a confirmation will be emailed to you.

Fees and Discounts

Team registration is $175.00 if paid prior to or on December 31, 2015. Team registration is $200.00 if paid on or after January 1, 2016

Meat cost is $8.00 per pound with a 25 pound minimum prior to or on January 31, 2016. Meat cost is $9.00 per pound with a 25 pound minimum on or after February 1, 2016

Mandatory Team Meeting

At least one member of your team is required to attend the mandatory team meeting to be held February 23, 2016.
